Meet The Chef
Dakota grew up in Pennsylvania where he became well versed in the culinary styles and flavors of a variety of cuisine styles. This led him to pursue a degree in culinary arts and advanced baking and pastry at the Indiana University Academy of Culinary Arts in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. Following graduation, Dakota made a move to North Carolina where he was exposed to a world of new, fresh and international dishes common to the South and solidified his belief that cooking was truly his life’s calling. After deciding to return to his roots with a position at a fine dining restaurant in Indiana,PA. He would also spend time developing skills and knowledge in the field of Nutrition and Culinary Dietetics at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Searching for greater knowledge and new experience. He relocated to St. Louis, MO to acquire his Masters from Saint Louis University in Culinary Entrepreneurship and to complete a Dietetic Internship. He now lives in South Florida, where he works as the chef and owner of The Private Wellness Chef, providing; private chef services and catering needs.
